Dr Kau (许医生) was invited to be part of the regional teaching faculty for established Orthopaedic Surgeons, learning about the Oxford Partial Knee Replacement. This Asia Pacific course was held in Bangkok, Thailand over 2 days and it was his third time helping out with the course.
Participants from India, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore took part in an intensive 2 day session with lectures, case studies and culminating in a cadaveric workshop with live demonstrations on the surgical technique for partial knee replacement.
“Happy to be back after COVID and great to spend a fruitful 2 days with fellow surgeons from the region. The hosts are ever gracious and the course setup is geared towards maximal learning for the attendees. Even though we’re teaching, I always take home something new from the course as well.”
